Environmental Tillage Systems: 4Rs Technology Review Field Day
4R Nutrient StewardshipIn is a new, innovative approach of selecting the right nutrient source to apply at the right rate in the right place at the right time. The guidelines for the 4R principles are endorsed and supported by the International Plant Nutrient Institute, The Fertilizer Institute, The Canadian Fertilizer Institute and the International Fertilizer Industry Association.
Working with client Environmental Tillage Systems, the FLM+ event management team coordinated with the Ohio AgriBusiness Association, The Fertilizer Institute, the Ohio Corn and Wheat Growers Association and the Ohio Soybean Council to facilitate a highly successful 4R Technology Review field day event in northwestern Ohio.
The event provided ag retailers and farmers with new research, agronomic information and onsite demonstrations of 4R practices that improve water quality and nutrient placement and management. 100 percent of post-project survey responses indicated they would plan to attend again in the future, and 96 percent said they were satisfied or extremely satisfied with the educational sessions.
